Owns the money. Cold outreach to companies, running our sponsor decks, closing deals, managing relationships after the yes.
Good fit: comfortable emailing strangers and following up, organized, not scared of rejection.
Marketing & Growth
Owns getting hackers in the door. Instagram content, DMing club leaders, re-engaging past hackers, running the application push.
Good fit: makes good social content, knows how student communities spread things, a bit of a hustler.
Operations
Owns the run-of-show. The schedule, venue logistics, the live 36-hour timeline, keeping the weekend on the rails.
Good fit: organized, calm under pressure, makes plans and sticks to them.
Tech
Owns the website, Devpost, registration, and any automation like acceptance emails.
Good fit: can ship a website and wire up tools. Doesn't need to be senior, just gets things working.
Design
Owns the brand in practice. Social graphics, deck polish, certificates, keeping everything consistent.
Good fit: good visual eye, knows Figma or similar, can run with our existing look.
Community & Participant Experience
Owns the hacker experience. Discord moderation, helping solo hackers find teams, keeping energy up, wrangling mentors and judges.
Good fit: friendly, responsive, makes a server feel alive.
